New to UUCL?  Welcome!

On your first visit to UUCL, you will be warmly greeted and given an Order of Service, a Welcome brochure, the latest issue of our newsletter and a name badge to wear. We encourage everyone to wear name badges to foster a community in which we are all known by name, including children and teens. You may also complete the Visitor Register to receive UUCL announcements about upcoming sermons and activities. You are welcome to sit anywhere in our historic chapel.

Visitors with children: During the early service (and single summer service), children are asked to participate in a special “Story for All Ages.”  After the story, the congregation “sings out the children” as they and their teachers proceed to their Religious Exploration (RE) classes in the church basement. Your children will be invited to join them; you will be asked to complete a short form for their safety. There are no RE classes during the second service, but children are welcome in the Sanctuary. Childcare for those under 3 years is available during each Sunday service unless noted in the preceding week’s Announcements.

After the service, please plan to stay for coffee and fellowship.

As you explore our website and learn about us, feel free to contact us with your questions. We look forward to meeting you and helping you find what you need.

With faith, hope and love,

Rev. Alice King and the UUCL congregation
