Stony the Road

One Service, 10AM. Join the service here.

Come and be in community, see friendly faces, feel welcomed, remember you are loved. Your loved ones are welcome to join our service.

How hard this road is that we are on. It is a road that promises liberty and justice for all. And our Unitarian Universalist road promises that each person has worth and dignity and that we are all connected in “one garment of destiny.”. We stumble on the stones and sometimes can’t see our way. Rev. Gail Stratton will explore some of her travel on this road through both story and reflection.

This Sunday, January 17th, 2021 in the RE Space:

9:15 am The Littles Group (Pre-K through Grade 1) Let’s use our imagination to imagine a world where racism doesn’t exist. We will learn about Martin Luther King and do a fun experiment together!

11:15 am Children’s Group (Pre-K through Grade 4) Imagine and work for a better world! We will read “I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King Jr.”, do a virtual tour of the National Civil Rights Museum and learn about Georgia Gilmore. Afterwards we will play the game, Never Have I Ever.

1pm Jr. Youth Group (Middle School) Activists are reclaiming so many dreams for a better world right now. (the green new deal, police reform, free college, universal health care, universal basic income, etc.) We want and need it all right now, but if you could pick just one that would happen first in the coming year, what would it be and why?
