Membership & Hospitality
The Membership & Hospitality Committee leads, coordinates and maintains membership and hospitality activities which nurture congregational growth and support commitment to UUCL.
Finance
The Finance Committee serves as the Board’s resource for management of the UUCL’s finances, enabling the Board to exercise prudent fiscal oversight of UUCL’s financial resources to support its annual vision of ministry and financial and fiduciary responsibilities.
Advancing Justice
The Advancing Justice Council supports an inclusive, multicultural, and multigenerational religious community that advances action on justice causes for UUCL to live its mission.
Communications
The Communications/Outreach Committee enhances and sustains effective, welcoming, inclusive communication within and beyond the Unitarian Universalist Church of Loudoun (UUCL). They are responsible for the website, social media, and other communications.
Buildings and Grounds
The Buildings & Grounds Committee maintains and improves the UUCL church building and surrounding grounds.
All Ages Read Together
AART provides free programs to children in Loudoun and Fairfax counties who are at risk of entering kindergarten in need of extensive remedial instruction that can cost an extra $3,500 per child annually.
UUA CSAI – Undoing Intersectional White Supremacy
The CSAI is an invitation for congregations, including ours, to take a topic of concern and engage it, reflect on it, learn about it, respond to it, comment on it, and take action – each in their own way.
Pastoral Care
Rev. Alice King offers spiritual guidance and pastoral support to UUCL members and active friends. Such support may include relationship counseling, dealing with grief and loss, or seeking spiritual growth.
