The Finance Committee serves as the Board’s resource for management of the UUCL’s finances, enabling the Board to exercise prudent fiscal oversight of UUCL’s financial resources to support its annual vision of ministry and financial and fiduciary responsibilities.
The Finance Committee oversees the financial matters of the church such as reporting, budgeting, pledge record-keeping and bookkeeping. The committee is also responsible for establishing policies and internal controls as well as working with Stewardship to coordinate the annual pledge drive and fundraisers. This committee works with each of the other standing committees to develop realistic budgets and goals.
