Religious Exploration Groups for Children and Youth–Sundays

Our Childrens’ Groups and Jr. Youth Group will meet via Zoom.  To log on click HERE (room 2404193933).

This Sunday, February 21st, 2021 in the RE Space:

9:15 am – The Littles Group (Pre-K through Grade 1) Racism hurts the ones we love in our Beloved Community. We want to help heal the hurts caused by racism; we can start doing this work together!

 11:15 am – Children’s Group (Pre-K through Grade 4)  Three of the ways to heal, to put on the “band aid” for racism are to:
● Notice our differences and celebrate them
● Say “I see what’s happening and it’s not fair” – don’t let the wound continue to happen
● Fix the systems that cause personal wounds.
In this together we will explore all three.

1pm – Jr. Youth Group (Middle School) A large part of eloved Community is creating new ways of being together. If we are a selfish society, how can we move to be a sharing one? We will explore this idea together, as well as play some games!

Sr. Youth Escape Room Social Event

All UUCL Youth, Grades 9 and up, are invited to join with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling’s youth for a fun social event playing a virtual escape room. Please email Kate for more information.

All Youth, Grades 9 and up, are invited to join with the Youth Group at UUCL for our monthly joint Youth Group meeting with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling. We will be meeting online and diving deeper into the theme “Commitment”. Please meet HERE.
