Religious Exploration Groups for Children and Youth–Sundays

This Sunday in the RE Space:

9:15 am – The Littles Group (Pre-K through Grade 1) It will take determination to build Beloved Community. The tortoise symbolizes determination. There is an Aesop’s fable about a race between a Tortoise and a Hare. So who do you expect to win? If you know, don’t tell!

11:15 am – Children’s Group (Pre-K through Grade 4)  We don’t want to run away when things get hard. Instead, we can center ourselves as a mountain, solid and immovable. We will do this work and not be pushed away. We will use our determination to work through hard things! If you have Lego or building blocks of some sort, please have those ready!

1pm – Jr. Youth Group (Middle School) Join us for Social Justice Sunday! We will be working together on the book, “This Book is Anti-Racist.” Together we will learn how to wake up, take action and do the work.

All UUCL Youth, Grades 9 and up, are invited to join with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling’s youth for a fun social event playing a virtual escape room. The youth have voted to do a Romeo-and-Juliet themed escape room. Please email Kate for more information.

All Youth, Grades 9 and up, are invited to join with the Youth Group at UUCL for our monthly joint Youth Group meeting with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling. We will be meeting online and diving deeper into the theme “Commitment”. Please meet HERE.
