One Service, 10AM
Join the Service HERE
Come and be in community, see friendly faces, feel welcomed, remember you are loved. Your loved ones are welcome to join our service.
The ancient Japanese custom of “Forest Bathing” remains remarkably relevant and useful to us today, as we understand more of the science of how the trees can heal us. The more we learn about how much the natural world gives us, the more we are empowered to give back.

Sunday, November 15th, 2020 in the Zoom RE Space:
9:15 am – The Littles Group (Pre-K through Grade 1)
Gratitude means saying thank you. When we think of everything we are grateful for, we
are healed. We will work together to sing the ABC’s of Gratitude as a team. Can we finish the entire alphabet?
11:15 am – Children’s Group (Pre-K through Grade 4)
Did you know that saying thank you can be a prayer? We will learn one of our favorite UU hymns, #123 Spirit of Life, written as a healing prayer when Carolyn McDade was exhausted and short on hope. The words can be said as a prayer, too. We will also watch “Kid President’s 25 Reasons to be Thankful” and play a gratitude game together.
1pm – Jr. Youth Group (Middle School)
The UU faith also reminds us that healing involves being gentle with ourselves. When our feelings have been hurt and we’re feeling sad and lonely, sometimes the best thing to do is comfort ourselves. One way might be comfort food. Another way might be to spend time with a beloved pet. Be prepared to go into the kitchen for a mini-soup challenge!
