Each year, UUCL members and friends renew their pledge of record, a promised contribution to UUCL’s annual budget. Part of membership of UUCL includes contributing a pledge, but you do not need to be a member to pledge. The annual budget is built on the commitment of our members through annual pledges. Your pledge helps fund the reach of our mission.
The annual Stewardship Drive is the time of year when the Stewardship Committee reaches out to invite people to renew their pledges for the upcoming fiscal year. When you make a pledge, either by filling out a paper card or an online form, this is your promise to pay that pledge in the new fiscal year. Making a pledge is not making a payment, it is just a promise of future payment. You have all of the upcoming fiscal year to actually make the payment on your pledge.
When you make payments towards your pledge online, please verify that you are selecting the correct fund to pay towards. The selected fund must read ‘Annual Pledge’. If it says ‘Share the Plate – Sunday Offering’, that is an entirely separate donation and does not count towards your pledge.
The Annual Pledge Drive for FY27 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) was a combined drive with the Capital Campaign. So far, $169,680 has been raised. Read more about the Capital Campaign here.
