After more than a year of pandemic life, some days may feel almost normal, while others still bring us to our knees. Drawing upon the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke and her own spiritual practice of music-making, Unitarian Universalist Rev. Erin Walter will reflect on how we may endure ongoing isolation and struggle while also embracing moments of love and joy along the way.

9:15 am – The Littles Group (Pre-K through Grade 1)
The theme this month is Becoming. And part of growing up is figuring out what your special gifts are. We bet you have a special gift! We will have a show and tell where you can show us your special talent, your favorite game or a special toy you have received from someone.

11:15 am – Children’s Group (Pre-K through Grade 4)

Who are you becoming? We want to know! Bring your stories, tales and objects to show and tell. Have you read an amazing book? Gotten a new pet? Grown 5 inches? Come prepared to show and share!

1pm – Jr. Youth Group (Middle School) 

Join us for Social Justice Sunday! We will be working together on the book, “This Book is Anti-Racist.” Together we will learn how to wake up, take action and do the work.

12:30 pm – Sr. Youth Group (High School) 

All Youth, Grades 9 and up, are invited to join with the Youth Group at UUCL for our monthly joint Youth Group meeting with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling. We will be meeting online and diving deeper into the theme “Becoming”. Please meet HERE.
