UUCL member Ricky Keech, deputy director and deputy registrar for the Loudoun County Office of Elections and Voter Registration, hosts this service offered by the UU the Vote campaign.
Who knows what’s good or bad? How does our perspective change our reaction to situations? Can we control this? Based on the Taoist story of the farmer and the horse.
Our past shapes us but does it also define us? Can we escape our past and change our ways? Is redemption possible?
Religious Exploration for children and youth is available during the 9:30 service. Babysitting WILL be available this Sunday during both worship services. Babies and toddlers are always welcome in our sanctuary during services, too.
We use labels to make sense of the world. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? This summer, our speakers will explore many of the labels we use, both for ourselves and others, and their impact on how we see and treat the world.
Note: Religious Exploration is available during the service for children K-5th grade. Babysitting is available, and babies and toddlers are also welcome in our sanctuary during services.
Was Jesus Christ the son of God or merely a man? Does it really matter? We’ll explore belief in Jesus Christ and how his teachings and life can impact our UU belief system.
